Both Hands is two people: Nathanael Hollands and Mathieu-Philippe Bourgeois. This page explains what personal information we collect on both-hands.com, including the free tools at both-hands.com/assessment, why we collect it, who sees it, where it goes and how long we keep it.
The short version
- Browsing this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
- Your answers to the checks stay in your browser. We never see them unless you send them to us.
- When you use a contact form, we receive what you send and use it only to write back to you.
- We keep it 12 months after our last exchange, then delete it.
What we collect
When you browse. We record nothing about you. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, handles your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. The site remembers in your browser which language you chose.
When you answer a check. Your answers are saved in your browser’s storage on your device so you can come back to them. They are not sent to us. The “Reset my answers” button erases them, and so does clearing this site’s data in your browser.
When you send us a message from a contact form. Your email address, your first name and your note if you add them, what would help, and on a check page your result with every answer. Nothing is sent until you tick the consent box and press the button. Only then does Cloudflare Turnstile check that a person, not a program, is sending, to keep out spam. Cloudflare explains what that check collects in its Turnstile privacy addendum.
When you email us. What you write and your email address.
Why
Only to answer you and help with what you asked for. No newsletter, no mailing list, no advertising, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who sees it
Nat and Mat. To run the site and deliver your message, we use these services:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, checks that a message is not spam, and forwards email sent to our address.
- Resend delivers the messages sent from the contact form.
- Google (Gmail) holds our email inboxes.
Outside Quebec
These services store and process information outside Quebec, including in the United States, where different privacy laws apply and where authorities can, in some cases, require access to it.
How long we keep it
12 months after our last exchange with you, then we delete it. Resend, which delivers messages sent from the contact form, keeps its copy for 30 days. If you become a client, we keep what the work requires, and what the law asks of us for as long as it asks.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time: write to info@both-hands.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Who is responsible
Mathieu-Philippe Bourgeois is responsible for the protection of personal information at Both Hands. Contact: info@both-hands.com.
The prompt page
Copying the prompt from both-hands.com/assessment/ai sends nothing to us. Your conversation then happens in the AI service you choose, under its own terms.
Changes
When we change this page, we update the date at the top.
